Happiness is giving!

Ok happiness warriors, this one is a real tear jerker! In the best possible way.

The Gist: These Atlanta children were asked to choose between their perfect christmas gift, and the perfect christmas gift for their parents.

This time of year happiness is in the air, and a feeling of giving makes people smile as they walk down the street. Why do we do all this shopping? Why do we take on the crowds and the lines and the malls? It's because we want to give. We want to see the faces of our friends and family as they open the gifts we hope they will enjoy.

Your Mission: Hold on to the feeling of giving this season, remember how good it feels to give and make people happy. If we can take some of these holiday principles and sprinkle them though-out our year, perhaps we can top people's happiness up and make the world a happier place all year around.

Hope you are having a happy day!

Happiness is... being sorry.

Good morning happiness warriors! I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!

Have you ever heard the phrase it's better to be happy than right? Well i've always believed it is better to be right and happy, but if I had to choose, I would choose happy every time.

Saying sorry isn't always easy. It normally requires either admitting you were wrong, or realizing that righting a wrong can be more important that being right :D

That being said here is a very interesting article about how this African tribe goes about resolving conflict.

The Gist: Reminding someone how wonderful they are when they do something wrong, is a much more effective way of preventing them from behaving in the same way in the future.

Your happiness mission for this week: Forgive someone who has done you wrong or/and ask yourself this question, is it more important to be right than to say sorry?

Have a happy day!

You are Beautiful

Good morning happiness warriors!

Here is an amazing article my friend Jen sent me...You may have seen it you may not.

The Gist: Shea Glover posed people in front of her camera and told them "I'm taking pictures of things I find beautiful" and then clicked the button. This resulted in, a group of pictures of people reacting to being told they are beautiful. I think their faces say it all...it's pretty incredible.

Check it out here:

YOUR MISSION FOR TODAY: Tell someone you find beautiful that they are beautiful. We think, it we know it, but do we say it?

Have a happy day!

We are not the first group of people starting a happiness revolution and I certainly hope we won't be the last.
